Your Tasks:
We are seeking an experienced Head of Data to lead our data team in the further development of our state-of-the-art cloud-based data platform. The Head of Data will be responsible for defining and executing the data strategy, managing data projects, and driving data-driven decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data management and advanced analytics, as well as a proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Define and implement a data strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives and supports the growth and success of the organization
  • Lead and develop a team of data professionals, including data scientists, analysts, and engineers, and provide ongoing coaching and support to help them grow and develop their skills
  • Manage data projects from start to finish, including defining project scope and objectives, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and delivering solutions on time and within budget
  • Analyze large and complex data sets using advanced data analytics techniques to extract insights and inform decision-making
  • Communicate findings to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner, and work closely with business leaders to identify opportunities to use data to drive business outcomes
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices, and continuously learn about the ad tech industry and the needs of the target market
Your Profile:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. computer science, data science, statistics)
  • 8+ years of experience in data management and advanced analytics, with at least 3 years of experience in a leadership role
  • Strong understanding of cloud-based data platforms and experience working with large and complex data sets
  • Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present findings and insights to a variety of audiences
  • Passion for staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices, and continuously learning about the ad tech industry and the needs of the target market
  • Fluent in English, German skills are a plus
